Why does the old URL not redirect to this site?

At the time of writing, the old thesis creator website is over 20 years old, and triggers the quirks mode on modern browsers for backwards compatability. This new site uses a lot of features and tags new in HTML5, and would not work on older browsers. In the interest of historical preservation and preventing linkrot, I have decided to leave up the old site at its original URL, mostly unchanged.

What is the future plan for this site?

Lots of other thesis generators seem to be including AI. At some point I'd like to add an AI feedback button (not a full-on chatbot), maybe answering questions like "How can I improve this thesis?", "Can you suggest other titles?", or "Does this answer the provided prompt?". I don't think people want their writings being used to train ChatGPT, so I'll be going with some other open-source AI.
